Sur cette élévation naturelle dans le paysage, P. van Loon construisit en 1792 le pavillon de chasse en bois Hilverroode. Ce bâtiment fut remplacé par un bâtiment en pierre, appelé Hilveroord. Le terrain comprenait plusieurs dépendances telles que des fermes, une maison de jardinier et une bibliothèque. La dernière grande maison fut démolie en 1986. La zone est maintenant clôturée.
