Description

Op deze natuurlijke hoogte in het landschap bouwde P. van Loon in 1792 het houten jachtslot Hilverroode. Dit gebouw maakte plaats voor een stenen gebouw, genaamd Hilveroord. Op het terrein kwamen verschillende bijgebouwen zoals boerderijen, een tuinmanswoning en een bibliotheek. Het laatste grote huis werd in 1986 afgebroken. Het gebied is nu afgesloten.
