D'un côté du Marché s'élève le clocher de l'église de Geertruid, et de l'autre côté, on ne peut pas ignorer la tour de refroidissement de l'Amencentral. Beaucoup est compensé par les magnifiques tilleuls de part et d'autre du Marché, qui cachent un peu les voitures garées. Prenez le temps d'admirer les nombreux bâtiments historiques, comme par exemple l'ancienne Mairie, Markt 32-34 ou la Maison De Roos, Markt 46 et l'ancien Orphelinat au n° 52.
