L'Osservatorio cantonale di Neuchâtel è un osservatorio astronomico, fondato dal Canton Neuchâtel in Svizzera nel 1858. L'edificio inaugurato nel 1860 è stato costruito da Hans Rychner in forme ispirate al classico, prestando attenzione a posizionare gli strumenti direttamente sulla roccia, senza alcuna connessione con l'edificio.
Il primo direttore dell'osservatorio è stato Adolphe Hirsch, che ha diretto l'istituto fino alla sua morte nel 1901, e dal quale è stato nominato l'ampliamento inaugurato nel 1912.
