I Giardini della Plaça de les Tortugues è un piccolo giardino che ospita il Font de les Tortugues circondato da alberi di aranci amari ( Citrus aurantium ) sul bordo esterno.
Nei giardini di questa Plaça de les Tortugues si trova il monumento alla Madonna del Rosario , eretto dalla città in ricordo dello tsunami del 1755 .
Le tartarughe che circondano la fontana sono considerate animali portafortuna e simboleggiano longevità e protezione . Pertanto, le tartarughe compaiono in un gran numero di templi e città
