Le montagne di Cooley si trovano nella penisola di Cooley nel nord-est della contea di Louth in Irlanda. Consistono in due creste che si estendono da nord-ovest a sud-est, separate dalla valle di Glenmore, attraverso la quale scorre il Big River.
Slieve Foy, a 589 metri, è la vetta più alta della catena e la più alta della contea di Louth. Si trova sulla cresta orientale, che è lunga circa 6 km e include anche le cime di The Eagles Rock, The Ravens Rock, The Foxes Rock e Barnavave. Quest'ultimo nome deriva da Bearna Mhéabha e si riferisce alla leggendaria regina Medb, il cui esercito si dice abbia scavato un passaggio attraverso la montagna.
