Het tentoonstellingspaleis is een congres- en tentoonstellingscentrum gelegen in de Bovenstad van Charleroi. Het werd in 1953 gebouwd door de architect Joseph André en de ingenieur Léon-Marcel Chapaux.
Het project is ontstaan uit de wil van de burgemeester Joseph Tirou, met als doel de stad te verfraaien en te waarderen. De studie van een project voor een paleis ter waarde van 70.000.000 frank werd op 28 juni 1948 beslist. In oktober 1949 bedraagt de schatting 231.500.000 frank. De ruwbouw werd op 20 juni 1954 ingehuldigd en de eerste internationale tentoonstelling vond plaats in september 1954. Het betrof een technische en industriële tentoonstelling waaraan 515 Belgische en 456 buitenlandse bedrijven deelnamen. De maand na de tentoonstelling werd de beurs voor Huishoudelijke Kunst voltooid.
