Pailhe is een van de oudste parochies van het arrondissement Hoei, maar het huidige neoklassieke gebouw van de Hut-architect Emile VIERSET-GODIN dateert uit 1847.
Hier kun je een reproductie van het beroemde Pailhe-altaarstuk bewonderen, in polychroom hout uit de laatgotische periode, verdeeld in zeven compartimenten die scènes uit het leven van Christus en toegeschreven aan de Antwerpse kunstenaar Jean de MOLDER. Sinds 1843 bevindt het origineel zich in het Musée d'Arts et d'Histoire in Brussel.
Er is ook een zeer fraaie Christus aan het Kruis uit 1520, uit een atelier in 's Hertogenbosch, een 17e-eeuws beeld van Sint-Gillis met een hinde, een zilveren monstrans van 65 cm (1650), evenals twee 19de-eeuwse zilveren wierookbranders van 27 cm.
