Begin april 2013 heeft de Dienst voor Toerisme zijn intrek genomen in een nieuw gebouw op de place Paul-Emile Janson, aan de voet van de kathedraal. Van deze voormalige kanunnikwoning uit de 12e eeuw met een rijk historisch verleden, bestaat nog de gewelfde kelder die toegankelijk is voor het publiek en gebruikt wordt voor tijdelijke tentoonstellingen.
Achter een glazen, geluiddichte wand bevindt zich het geklimatiseerde auditorium met 76 plaatsen, waar twee multimediaspektakels worden geprojecteerd, die ongeveer twintig minuten duren : «De Wonderlijke Geschiedenis van Doornik», en «Tussen hemel en steen».
