Het Cap de Creus natuurpark was het eerste park dat zowel mariene als terrestrische delen beschermde in Catalonië. Het omvat het grootste deel van het schiereiland Cap de Creus. De Sierra de Rodes en Verdera tussen Llançà en Roses heeft een eigenaardige kustmorfologie. Deze wordt gedomineerd door rotsen. Het grootste deel van het oppervlak is bedekt met struikgewas en droge graslanden, die sterk contrasteert met de naaktheid van de flora in de buurt van de kust.
