Francisco Alba Medina is beter bekend als Paco Alba.
Hij is een componist en schepper van carnavalsgroepen in Cádiz. Hij werd geboren in Conil de la Frontera in 1918 en stierf in Cádiz in 1976 op 57-jarige leeftijd.
Paco Alba wordt beschouwd als de bedenker van de comparsa van het carnaval van Cádiz.
Cádiz eerde hem met dit stenen monument van de kunstenaar Fernando Benítez (Nando) dat zich bevindt op de rotonde bij de ingang van La Caleta.
Een must voor carnaval liefhebbers.
