Om bij de haven van Soussans te komen, moet u de vrij rechte weg tussen de wijngaarden volgen voordat u de moerassen en de oevers van de Gironde bereikt.
Van hieruit heeft u toegang tot een klein, rustig en schilderachtig gebied met een bevoorrecht uitzicht op het estuarium: het Groene Eiland en het Noordereiland in het zicht bieden een natuurlijk en dagelijks spektakel. Afhankelijk van het weer of zelfs het seizoen is elke dag een nieuw plaatje om te ontdekken.
U kunt van dit moment gebruik maken om even uit te rusten aan een van de picknicktafels.
Als uw blik van nature naar het water gaat, hoeft u uw gezichtsveld maar iets meer te openen om het kasteel van Fumadelle (rechts van de haven) te zien, dat ons het aangrijpende verhaal vertelt van het eiland Fumadelle dat aan de kust vastzit.
