De vijver ligt in de gemeente Saint Etienne du Valdonnez, in het hart van het nationale park van de Cevennen en heeft het label "Europees Handvest voor duurzaam toerisme" gekregen. Om er te komen kunt u de D35 nemen, die de Col de Montmirat verbindt met de Pont de Montvert. De vijver is open om te vissen van 1 juli tot en met 31 augustus en de weekends en feestdagen van 1 mei tot en met 30 juni.
