Het strand is gelegen tussen de Vieux Port en Port de Garavan, langs Quai Bonaparte voor het oude centrum
Anders dan de meeste stranden in Menton bestaat het niet uit grote keien, maar fijne grindkorrels gemengd met zand, wat het comfortabel maakt voor (blootsvoets) wandelen en spelen.
De sedert 2019 vernieuwde esplanade heeft 12 pergola’s (terrasoverkapping) en 4 drankfonteintjes, aangevuld met douches en toiletten.
Het uitzicht is een echt postkaartperspectief: kleurrijke façades van Menton met op de achtergrond de Italiaanse bergen
