Zinkwit, Ing. Roccourstraat 28, Caestert (Eijsden)
De oude zinkwitfabriek van Eijsden was van oudsher de grootste werkgever van Eijsden. De zinkwitfabriek werd in 1870 opgericht door de Belgische ingenieur George Rocour en ging in januari 1871 in productie. Zinkwit is een wit pigment dat onder meer gebruikt wordt in de verfindustrie en de rubberindustrie. Nu zijn hier de fabrieken Ineos Silica en Umicore gevestigd.
Hier ligt ook het kantoorgebouw in een traditionele bouwstijl, dat in 1928 in opdracht van de Nederlandsche Zinkwit Maatschappij naar een ontwerp van de architecten V.F. Marres en W.J. Sandhövel uit Maastricht werd gebouwd.
