El edificio más destacado es la gótica Basílica de Nuestra Señora, cuya construcción se llevó a cabo desde 1240 hasta 1544 y en la que se puede admirar la conocida imagen de Nuestra Señora con el Niño de 1476. Por supuesto, también está el macizo púlpito de bronce dorado de 1372, junto a innumerables otras obras de arte del siglo XIII al XIX. En la iglesia se están realizando excavaciones arqueológicas que puedes ver durante el horario de apertura normal desde un muelle para turistas. Junto a la iglesia se ha descubierto una torre romana del siglo IV.
