De Zaat (streektaal voor 'scheepswerf') is de voormalige Boelwerfsite, een terrein van 87 hectare dat werd heringericht als woon- en KMO-zone. Het vroegere administratief complex van Boelwerf werd schitterend gerestaureerd en biedt nu onderdak aan de gemeentelijke diensten. Aan de Zaat werd ook een nieuwe jachthaven ingericht. Het clubhuis is als taverne voor iedereen toegankelijk. Het dakterras biedt je een spectaculair uitzicht op de Schelde en Temse.
