Fra begyndelsen af vejen "Am Englischen Hügel" ser du ned på jernbanen fra Elten til Emmerich. Lidt længere mod øst er denne jernbane (fordi der var lidt plads) anlagt langs den stejle skrænt af morænen lige ved grænseelven "Die Wild". Dernede flød engang en hovedgren af Rhinen, som har eroderet store dele af morænen.
"Am Englischen Hügel" fører dig fra kanten af morænen 26 m over havets overflade til toppen "Hoch-Elten" 77 m over havets overflade.
