Dieser Friedhof ist nach einem nahegelegenen Bauernhof benannt, der von britischen Einheiten als „Cement House“ bezeichnet wurde. Cement House Cemetery ist ein Beispiel für einen Konzentrationsfriedhof. Lange Zeit war es auch der einzige Commonwealth-Friedhof, dessen Register für die Beisetzung neuer Gräber offen blieb. Alle britischen Opfer, die in den letzten Jahren auf dem Industriegelände entlang des Kanals gefunden wurden, wurden und werden hier bestattet.
