Deze blok bevat 30 appartementen en is genoemd naar het openluchtzwembad (zie foto uit de oude doos) dat zich hier tot 1986 achter bevond, de zogenaamde 'Lac Aux Dames'.
In 1935 werd het zwembad met zeewater gebouwd, het eerste in zijn soort aan de kust, onder impuls van de toenmalige zwemkampioen Martial van Schelle. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd deze sport- en zakenman in het Fort van Breendonk geëxecuteerd.
Het zwembad- en restaurantcomplex werd ernstig beschadigd tijdens deze oorlog en in 1986 besliste men het volledig te slopen. De appartementen met dezelfde naam bleven staan... Ze zijn een ontwerp van architect Maurice De Nève uit 1953.
