Il Castello di Laach è una villa signorile a Monheim am Rhein, nel distretto di Mettmann, ed è situato sul terreno della Corte di Laach, la cui gestione è attestata fin dal XIII secolo.
La Corte di Laach fu acquistata nel 1886 dal figlio illegittimo del re belga Leopoldo I, Arthur von Eppinghoven, che nel 1909 la rivendette al sindaco e pastore di Dinslaken. Da questo, la corte passò nel 1910 a Clemens August Engels, che nel 1911 fece costruire il Castello di Laach. Dal 1932 al 1938 il castello fu di proprietà del vicepresidente del Reich Franz von Papen.
