Aquest petit far es troba dins de les muralles del Castell de Santiago da Barra , davant de la zona portuària a la desembocadura del riu Lima.
Es tracta d´una torre cilíndrica de color vermell, de 6 metres d´alçada , amb pilars blancs, llanterna i balcó de servei. Va ser construïda el 1878 i encara s'utilitza per donar suport al transport marítim.
Característica de la llum: 2 s encesa, 2 s apagada.
