Skolecentret Saint-Remacle i Stavelot modtager 1200 børn fra børnehave til gymnasium.
Det blev grundlagt af dekan Nyssen i 1856. For de tysktalende studerende var der 'classe allemande'. Der er også et internat. De mest kendte elever er præst Conrardy og general Jacques de Dixmude (1858-1928).
Saint Remacle blev født omkring 600 og døde omkring 669, og var en katolsk og ortodoks helgen, stifter af Stavelot-klosteret i 651 og den første abbed for Solignac-klosteret.
