Denne kalkstensvasker datoerer fra 1729 eller omkring 1825, afhængig af kilden. Bygningen er sandsynligvis bygget i det 19. århundrede, ligger under vejbanen og har et bredt tegltag.
Vaskestedet er tilgængeligt via to trapper og afgrænses af den fremspringende kant af centralledningen, der forsynes af Eau Blanche.
Det handler her om ikke de traditionelle vaskesteder med forskellige vaskekummer til sæbning og skylning. Det ser ud til, at dette skete i 'det åbne kloaksystem'.
Vaskesteder opstod ofte fra det 18. århundrede, da behovet for at vaske linnen mere end 2 gange om året opstod på grund af de højere krav til hygiejne og sundhed.
