I området Donk kan man finde nogle smukke Brabantiske langgavle gårde. En langgavle gård er en rektangulær gårdtype, hvor stuehus, stald og lade er bygget sammen, og alle døre er placeret i de lange gavle.
I stuehuset var herden (køkkenet) det vigtigste rum. Det åben ildsted i skorstenen blev primært brugt til at lave mad.
Stalden husede en potstal til køerne, en svinestald, en hestestald og en 'hønehus' til kyllingerne. Over stalden var der høloftet.
Laden bestod af to dele. På siden af stalden var der tærskegulvet, hvor kornet blev tærsket i vintermånederne for hånd. Bag tærskegulvet var 'tasken', hvor kornhøsten blev opbevaret.
