Der Folkloremarkt von Heist (Juli und August) besteht schon länger. Von 15:00 bis 20:00 Uhr ist Heist der Schauplatz für eine Demonstration alter Handwerkskünste, Auftritte der Jugendtanzgruppe 'Klakkertjes', ein Puppentheater, einen Spaziergang mit den Riesen Pier und Wanne und vieles mehr. An Markttagen kann es manchmal schwierig sein, in Knokke oberirdisch zu parken, nutzen Sie dann das Parkhaus unter dem Verweeplein.
