Die Takakkaw Falls im Yoho-Nationalpark sind spektakulär und definitiv einen Besuch wert. Der Wasserfall ist von der Yoho Valley Road aus sichtbar (nicht immer geöffnet!) und besonders das "springende Wasser" auf einer natürlichen Plattform macht ihn beeindruckend. Gesamt-Höhe: 384 Meter. Längster freier Fall des Wassers: 254 Meter. (Zahlen Wikipedia 2012.) Die Takakkaw Falls sind die Nummer zwei in Westkanada in Bezug auf die Höhe.
Die Takakkaw Falls wurden im Film "Last of the Dogmen" (1995, geschrieben und inszeniert von Tab Murphy) gezeigt.
