Die Ruinen der Grand Arnsbourg, die zwischen Philippsbourg und Niederbronn-les-Bains liegen, gehören zu einer Burg, die Mitte des 12. Der Zweck des Baus der Burg war die Überwachung des Zinseltals, das bis nach Bitche führte. Im Jahr 1229 war Ludwig von Arnsburg der erste Bewohner der Burg. 1332 ging sie in den Besitz der Herren von Lichtenberg über, bis die Familie 1481 ausstarb. Danach ging sie in den Besitz der Grafen von Deux-Pont-Bitche über, bevor sie 1525 während des Bauernkriegs teilweise zerstört wurde.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist es seit 1999 verboten, die Burg zu betreten.
