Le rovine del Grand Arnsbourg, situato tra Philippsbourg e Niederbronn-les-Bains, appartengono a un castello costruito a metà del XII secolo. Lo scopo della costruzione del castello era quello di sorvegliare la valle dello Zinsel che conduceva a Bitche. Nel 1229, Luigi d'Arnsbourg fu il primo occupante del castello; nel 1332, passò nelle mani dei Siri di Lichtenberg, fino all'estinzione della famiglia nel 1481. Divenne quindi proprietà dei conti di Deux-Pont-Bitche, prima di essere parzialmente distrutto nel 1525 durante la guerra dei contadini.
Per motivi di sicurezza, dal 1999 è vietato visitare il castello.
