Die Stichting Museum Buurtspoorweg (gegründet 1967) betreibt eine Museumsbahnverbindung mit Dampflokomotiven und anderer historischer Bahntechnik über eine Strecke von ca. 10 km zwischen Haaksbergen und Boekelo. Das 1884 errichtete Bahnhofgebäude wurde ebenfalls restauriert und der gesamte Bahnhof wurde in die Atmosphäre der Jahrhundertwende zurückversetzt. Charakteristisch sind die Drehscheiben, der Wasserturm, die Werkstatt, der Lokschuppen und das Stellwerk (aus 1867).
