Visé lies on both sides of the Meuse. The city partially borders the Dutch municipality of Eijsden, with the Meuse as the border river in between.
In Visé is the originally 8th-century Saint Martin and Hadelinus Church. In 1338, the relics of St. Hadelinus were transferred from the church of Celles to Visé. The reliquary was restored between 1972 and 1974 and has since returned to the church in Visé. The Hadelinus procession takes place here every third Sunday in September.
