Assignment:
Enter the tavern and enjoy a delicious meal of 'mussels with fries'.
History:
Eating mussels has been happening as far back as one can trace in history. Initially, people simply collected mussels when the water receded at low tide, but later they also began to fish for mussels in the natural mussel beds that had formed along the coast. It wasn't long before they discovered that mussels could also be fished to be placed elsewhere to grow further. This ensured a secure catch, and the mussels could develop into larger and tastier forms. In those days, mussels were still considered food for the poor; mussels were cheap.
From the moment it was discovered that mussels could be caught to be released elsewhere, the current mussel culture slowly developed.
