This cemetery was established in November 1914 by French Alpine Hunters. It was used by units of the British Empire between February 1915 and February 1916. After the armistice, the French graves were removed. The majority of the men buried here belonged to the 'Staffordshire', the 'Norfolk Highland Regiment' or the 'Scottish Highland Regiment'.
