Ce cimetière a été créé en novembre 1914 par des chasseurs alpins français. Il a été utilisé par des unités de l'Empire britannique entre février 1915 et février 1916. Après l'armistice, les tombes françaises ont été enlevées. La plupart des hommes qui y sont enterrés appartenaient au 'Staffordshire', au 'Regiment des Highlands de Norfolk' ou au 'Regiment des Highlands écossais'.
