Deze begraafplaats werd gestart in november 1914 door Franse Alpenjagers. Ze werd gebruikt door eenheden van het Britse Rijk tussen februari 1915 en februari 1916. Na de wapenstilstand werden de Franse graven verwijderd. Het merendeel van de mannen die hier begraven zijn, behoorden tot de 'Staffordshire', het 'Norfolk Highland Regiment' of het 'Scottish Highland Regiment'.
