Este cementerio fue inaugurado en noviembre de 1914 por cazadores de Alpes franceses. Fue utilizado por unidades del Imperio Británico entre febrero de 1915 y febrero de 1916. Después del armisticio, se eliminaron las tumbas francesas. La mayoría de los hombres que aquí están enterrados pertenecían al 'Staffordshire', al 'Regimiento Highland de Norfolk' o al 'Regimiento Highland Escocés'.
