The Authentic Brasserie is a Belgian microbrewery located in the village of Blaton, part of the municipality of Bernissart in the province of Hainaut, not far from the French border. It mainly brews Authentique beers.
The microbrewery was launched in May 2004 by Frédéric Baert. The original batches of 20 liters have been replaced by batches of 500 liters. The name of this microbrewery demonstrates the brewer's commitment to respecting the traditional know-how, using only local products. The malting facility in Belœil allows the brewery to work with six varieties of malt.
