Drongengoed Wood has a beautiful fauna of deer and fallow deer. The chance to see one of them is very great, especially at nightfall. Not being hunted inside the wood of the estate and the nature reserve, the animals are not very fearful. In order to avoid accidents with deer or roe deer, reflectors were installed along the Urselweg. As the name suggests, reflectors reflect the light from car headlights. This process frightens the animals and prevents them from crossing the road at the wrong time.
