The building of the Episcopal Palace rises in the Bishop's Square very close to the Cathedral of Malaga, and it was built during the time of Bishop José Franquis Lasso de Castilla, starting from the year 1762.
The design is attributed to the architect Antonio Ramos, who, after the death of José de Bada in 1756, continued with the works that he was carrying out for the cathedral.
