The Coll de Rates connects Parcent with Tàrbena through the Sierra del Carrascar of Parcent. The pass is located at an altitude of 626 meters. At the top (and bottom of Parcent) there is a Stoppomat, which allows you to record your climbing time. What many don’t know is that you can deviate at the top of the main road and climb to the antennas that are about 300 meters higher. First, you will cover about 250 meters of unpaved road. Then you will reach the summit via a concrete path. The stretch to the antennas is also the steepest of the entire ascent.
