The restaurant Chez Fred, a well-known address in Carcassonne for many years, is ideally located, with its courtyard and shaded terrace, opposite the Chénier garden, a stone's throw from the station and the port of the Canal du Midi.
Pierre and Siham, owners of the restaurant since spring 2018, are passionate about gastronomy and love to share their love for good taste and a warm and friendly welcome.
Their menu is made exclusively with local, fresh and seasonal products.
On the menu
- traditional or revisited regional recipes such as the unavoidable Cassoulet or foie gras in soup, crispy or in terrine with apple and country ham
- more exotic recipes such as tuna tataki, teriyaki salad, or salmon gravelax
