Apple path

The Appeldijk is a long strip along the river Linge, lined with old standard apple trees on both sides. Because the trees are a little lower on the slope of the dike, the blossoms are at eye level. Beneath the trees is an abundance of cow parsley, creating a large sea of flowers here. At the bottom of the dike, there are marshy willow beds full of pollard willows. Along the entire dike, you are accompanied by a loud choir of birds.
