Charles Le Chevalier built this farm in 1847 and named it after his wife Anna van Heurn. From that time until the year 2000, the farm has been leased. The lease included the lands directly surrounding the farm as well as the lands that this walk leads you to.
Wetlands, but due to the small-scale farming methods of earlier times, the farmers here knew how to deal with it very well.
The farm is now privately inhabited, and the front house is used as a guesthouse. The former barn has been converted into a group accommodation for school camps, holiday weeks, and other groups.
