After starting a fish smoking business, Sven Quaars has opened a beautiful fish shop on the Boulevard in Cadzand-Bad: Fish Shop Quaars. One of the specialties is of course his smoked fish, kibbeling, and all the delicacies from the Oosterschelde. During the herring season, you can eat the herring fresh from the knife, which is only cleaned when you order a portion of herring. You can not only go there for the many types of North Sea fish. They also have oysters, lobster, fresh shrimp, seafood, and all kinds of shellfish.

… that the processing of the fish takes place in Breskens? The lines between the fishing boat and the shop are very short. This way, you are guaranteed fresh fish. In addition to processing for the horeca, fish is also exported to various EU countries.
