Verso la fine dell'XI secolo, fu istituito un collegio di canonici per ridare rigore alle abitudini di vita dei religiosi di Saint-Émilion. Fu quindi eretto un convento con il suo chiostro e una chiesa romanica che diventerà la chiesa collegiale. Elevata nel XII secolo, la navata, così come il suo portico sormontato da un campanile abbattuto, hanno conservato il loro stile romanico. Il coro risale al XIV secolo e ospita un organo classificato, unico strumento costruito nel 1892 da Gabriel Cavaillé-Coll, figlio del celebre costruttore di organi del XIX secolo, Aristide Cavaillé-Coll.
