Katedralen, byens juvel klassificeret som Monument Historique, har været samlingspunkt for befolkningen siden det 5. århundrede. Den nuværende katedral, som blev bygget fra 1230 på basis af de tidligere monumenter, har gennemgået, med betydelige ødelæggelser, to store katastrofer: religionskrigene og revolutionen i 1789, der efterlod dybe spor. Katedralen er klassificeret som verdensarv af UNESCO under Caminhos de Santiago de Compostela siden 1998. Kapitelhaven med arkæologiske udgravninger.
