Mulkerstraat 4, Tongeren
Just outside the city lies the impressive Betho castle. The castle, with its first mention dating back to 1267, was originally a water castle. The current pond refers to the moat that once surrounded the entire building. The residential castle is symmetrically laid out and consists of: castle, square farm, pond, and park. The current buildings mainly date from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a southwest tower from 1478.
This castle is not open to the public.
