The house on the corner of rue Catrice is representative of the Louis XIV style in Tournai in the last third of the 17th century: a solid volume in brick and limestone of two levels topped by a gable roof with a frontal hipped roof.
The next two Romanesque houses are exceptional witnesses of the civil architecture of the 12th century . They are said to have been built between 1175 and 1200 for the aldermen of Saint Brice. A door and a rebuilt bay window with mullioned windows remain on the ground floor of No. 12.
