At the beginning of April 2013, the Tourist Office moved into a new building on Place Paul-Emile Janson, at the foot of the cathedral. Of this former canon's residence from the 12th century with a rich historical past, the vaulted cellar still exists, which is accessible to the public and used for temporary exhibitions.
Behind a glass, soundproof wall is the air-conditioned auditorium with 76 seats, where two multimedia spectacles are projected, lasting about twenty minutes: “ The Wonderful History of Tournai ” and “ Between Heaven and Stone ”.
