The route goes through beautiful landscapes, along winding roads, through open stretches and fields with wind, and up the demanding Geels Bakke. Follow the training tips on the route to get more out of your training.
For traffic safety reasons, you must ride in the direction of the clock.
The Sandbjerg Route is an excellent route if you want to improve your training.
Here you can train:
Your anaerobic threshold with short intervals on the bike path along the motorway
Endurance uphill from Vedbæk to Sandbjerg - at 85% intensity
Position and endurance by riding laps on the stretch Gøngehusvej - Gøngevangen - Sandbjergvej - Henrikholms Allé
Strength uphill - up Geels Bakke 3-5 times, recover by rolling back.
